Galeries Tower Highrisers
Season Social Media Campaign
Designing a full-season social media content system for a PVL (Premier Volleyball League) team — building fan engagement through consistent, high-energy visual content across static and video formats.
Client: Galeries Tower Highrisers
League: Premiere Volleyball League (PVL)
Scope: Social Media Content System

THE BRIEF
The Galeries Tower Highrisers needed a cohesive, high-energy visual identity for their social media presence throughout their PVL season, covering the 2024 Reinforced Conference and the 2025 All-Filipino Conference. The content had to work across a fast-moving sports calendar: game announcements dropped days apart, player spotlights needed to feel fresh each time, and the grid had to look intentional even when fans were scrolling past individual posts.
The challenge wasn't just making individual graphics look good, it was building a content system flexible enough to cover every match-day scenario (game day announcement, live game, post-game awards, schedules, thank-you tributes) while maintaining visual consistency throughout an entire competitive season.

KEY DECISIONS
SOCIAL MEDIA APPLICATIONS
Teal + dark background as the visual system
The team's teal kit colour was made the dominant brand tone across all content, with dark (near-black) backgrounds creating contrast that makes player photography pop without heavy retouching. This keeps production speed high while maintaining a premium, broadcast-quality feel consistent with PVL's production standards.
Consistent player photography treatment
All player images follow a consistent cut-out style with the subject positioned to interact with the graphic frame. This creates visual unity across different players and photo sessions, essential when working with sports photography where lighting and angles vary significantly between games.
Oversized display type for impact
"GAME DAY", "THANK YOU", and "GAME SCHEDULE" are treated as the dominant visual element — not just labels. The typography is scaled to compete with the photography rather than sit beneath it. On mobile feeds where thumbnails are small, the bold headline is what stops the scroll.

OUTCOME
The Highrisers' social media feed became a recognisable, broadcast-quality content stream throughout the PVL season, with a unified visual language that held across game days, player features, schedule announcements, video tributes, and awards posts. The system was designed for speed without sacrificing quality, enabling consistent publishing across a high-frequency sports calendar spanning two full conferences.
